AMC Closes Theaters At Philadelphia Mills Mall

PHILADELPHIA — The AMC theater at the Philadelphia Mills mall is closed.

The company said online that AMC Philadelphia Mills 14 has permanently closed.

"AMC routinely reviews the theatres in our circuit, as well as opportunities outside of our circuit, and makes decisions based on what will best strengthen the Company going forward." am AMC representative told Patch.

Workers at the theater were given the option to stay with AMC and transfer to another location, the representative said.

"We thank our Philadelphia Mills 14 guests for their patronage and encourage them to continue enjoying the AMC experience at AMC Neshaminy 24 and AMC Woodhaven 10," they said.
