PHILADELPHIA — Interstate 95 has reopened after a van fire shut down several miles of the highway Thursday in Northeast Philadelphia.
The fire shut down I-95 South between exits 32 and 27 early in the afternoon.
CBS Philadelphia's chopper caught a charred vehicle on the interstate and firefighters working to extinguish the blaze.
I-95 South reopened around 1:30 p.m. Traffic has begun moving, but residual delays should be expected, officials said.
