MLB All-Star Week Is Here: Every Event Happening In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — MLB All-Star Week is no longer just the Home Run Derby and the Midsummer Classic. In Philadelphia, it's a five-day series of events.

All-star festivities will run from Friday through Tuesday, featuring everything from the HBCU Swingman Classic and MLB Draft to the Home Run Derby, fan festivals and the 96th MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park.

The event marks the first time Philadelphia has hosted the Midsummer Classic since 1996 and the first All-Star Game ever played at Citizens Bank Park.

Here's what's happening throughout All-Star Week:

Friday, July 10

HBCU Swingman Classic

• Time: 7 p.m. (Gates open at 5 p.m.)
• Location: Citizens Bank Park

The week begins with the HBCU Swingman Classic, featuring Division I baseball players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The annual showcase highlights top HBCU talent while celebrating the schools' baseball traditions. The game will air on MLB Network and MLB.com.

Saturday, July 11

MLB Draft

• Time: 1 p.m.
• Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center Grand Hall

Major League Baseball's annual amateur draft moves to Philadelphia for All-Star Week. The opening rounds begin at 1 p.m. and will air on NBC, with additional coverage on Peacock, MLB Network and MLB.com.

Capital One All-Star Village opens

• Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center

The interactive fan festival opens Saturday and runs through Tuesday. Visitors can take part in baseball-themed activities, games, batting experiences, meet-and-greets with MLB legends, youth clinics and exhibits while sampling signature ballpark foods from teams across Major League Baseball.

Sunday, July 12

MLB All-Star Futures Game

• Time: noon (gates open at 10 a.m.)
• Location: Citizens Bank Park

Baseball's top prospects will showcase their talents during the annual Futures Game.

MLBx: All-Star 3-on-3

• When: immediately after the Futures Game
• Location: Citizens Bank Park

A fast-paced 3-on-3 tournament featuring power hitting and co-ed teamwork featuring Phillies greats Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard and more.

Capital One All-Star Village

• Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Monday, July 13

T-Mobile Home Run Derby

• Time: 8 p.m.
• Location: Citizens Bank Park

Eight of baseball's top sluggers, including Phillies star Bryce Harper, will compete in the Home Run Derby. The competition will stream live on Netflix.

Capital One All-Star Village

• Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Tuesday, July 14

All-Star Red Carpet Show

• Time: 2 p.m.
• Location: Independence Mall

Before the first pitch, fans can watch the American League and National League All-Stars arrive in style during the annual Red Carpet Show. The event will air live on MLB Network and MLB.com.

96th MLB All-Star Game

• Time: 8 p.m. (Coverage begins at 7 p.m., gates open at 5 p.m.)
• Location: Citizens Bank Park

The week's festivities conclude with the 96th MLB All-Star Game, as the American League and National League face off in baseball's annual Midsummer Classic. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.
