PHILADELPHIA — Two former Philadelphia Eagles-turned-head coaches will face off at Lincoln Financial Field during a weeklong showcase of Historically Black College and University (HBCU) football and culture.
Last season, retired quarterback Michael Vick and former wideout DeSean Jackson made their head coaching debuts at different HBCUs.
Jackson led Delaware State to an 8-4 record, while Norfolk State finished 1-11 with Vick at the helm.
Their teams will face off this fall during One Philly HBCU Week 2026. The weeklong showcase will feature two football matchups between HBCU programs, plus cultural celebrations.
Virginia Union University will face Chester County's Lincoln University on Oct. 30. Delaware State and Norfolk State will compete the next day.
Competitions between HBCU choirs, bands and more will take place throughout the week.
This will mark a rematch for Jackson and Vick, whose teams faced off during last year's "Battle of the Legends" game at The Linc. Delaware State won that matchup, 27-20, in front of a crowd of 47,266.
Tickets for both games will be available starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday on Ticketmaster.
