Amtrak Service From Philly To New York Restored

Overhead power issues caused Amtrak to suspend service from Philadelphia to New York City, but the service was restored by about 10:45 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA — Amtrak service from Philadelphia to New York City has resumed after power issued forced its suspension Thursday.

According to Amtrak, overhead power issued at Metropark station in Iselin, New Jersey caused the service suspension and limitation.

Amtrak said customers will experience residual delays as trains resume.
