Baby Abandoned At Philadelphia Walmart: Police
A 3-month-old girl was left at a Philadelphia Walmart after two men and a woman were confronted over suspected shoplifting, police said.
PHILADELPHIA — A 3-month-old child was left at a Philadelphia Walmart store, and police are looking for three people in connection with the abandonment incident.
The child, a girl, was found at about 11 p.m. Thursday at the Walmart on the 4300 block of Byberry Road, police said.
Officers were called to the area for a report of a theft and learned from employees that security tried to stop three people suspected of shoplifting.

Those people, two black men and one white woman, fled the store, leaving behind the 3-month-old girl.
The child was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital for evaluation.

Her condition is reported to be good, police said.
The Philadelphia Police Department's Special Victims Unit is currently investigating the incident.
