Two men charged were covered in blood. One was wearing Steelers slippers and the other was a Cowboys fan, police said.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — Four guys arguing in a bar about the Philadelphia Eagles literally took their fight outside, and two people ended up in the hospital. The other two ended up in jail.

Christopher D. Hoffman, 56, and his son, 32-year-old Brittan B. Holland, both of the Sicklerville section of Winslow Township, were arrested at their home on Thursday.

Police say they were certain Hoffman and Holland were the people who attacked two men outside the bar because they were covered in fresh blood when they were found at their Madelay Court home.

Oh, and Hoffman was wearing Pittsburgh Steelers slippers. Worse yet, Holland admitted to being a Dallas Cowboys fan, according to police.

Officers responded to the tavern in response to a 9-1-1 call for an unconscious man bleeding from the head in the parking lot and a vehicle that was seen leaving the area.

The officers found one man still laying in the parking lot covered in blood when they arrived. He was suffering severe injuries to both the back and front of his head. The other man was also found in the parking lot with a severely swollen nose.

According to police, the victims were in the tavern when they began arguing with Hoffman and Holland about the Eagles. The four men went outside, where things turned ugly and the victims were allegedly beaten up.

One man was taken to JFK Hospital in Washington Township, where he was treated for a broken nose.

The other man was taken by Winslow EMS to Cooper Hospital in Camden, where he was found to have suffered multiple fractures in his face.

Officers located and arrested Hoffman and Holland at their home a short time later.

Hoffman was charged with third-degree aggravated assault and released on a summons pending a court hearing.

Holland was charged with second-degree aggravated assault on a warrant and sent to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Neither was charged with being an irrational football fan.
