Blues Rock Duo The Black Keys Bringing New Tour To Philadelphia

The Black Keys will be on tour to support their new album, "Ohio Players," and are making a stop for a Philadelphia concert in October.

PHILADELPHIA — Rock and roll duo The Black Keys are about to release a new album, and to support the album they are heading out on a tour that will feature a Philadelphia concert.

Guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney are set to release the album "Ohio Players" on April 5.

Then later this year, they will stop at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for a concert on Monday, Oct. 21.

The Head and The Heart will open for The Black Keys on the "International Players Tour."

American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the public from 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.

"Ohio Players" features collaborations with artists such as Beck, Noel Gallagher, Dan the Automator, Greg Kurstin, Juicy J, Lil Noid, and more. The lead single, "Beautiful People (Stay High)," recently reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart and AAA Airplay charts
