Body Found In Schuylkill River Sunday: Philadelphia Police

The body of a black man in his 30s was found in the Schuylkill River at 2900 Spring Garden St. Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia are working on finding out how a man's body ended up in the Schuylkill River this weekend.

The body was found at about 3:38 p.m. Sunday at 2900 Sprig Garden St., police said.

Authorities said the body was that of a black man in his 30s.

There were no signs of trauma or physical wounds on the man's body based on preliminary investigations.

Medics pronounced him dead at 5:10 p.m.
