Burglar Breaks Philly Home Window Before Fleeing: Police
Police said the man seen here broke the window of a Philly home, but then ran away when an alarm went off.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help identifying a burglary suspect.
According to police, at about 9:47 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, the man above walked up to a home on the 6600 block of North 4th Street.
The man rang the doorbell and after several minutes went to the back of the home and broke a window, police said.

He got inside, but was scared off by the alarm and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction, according to police.
Police said nothing was taken.

The burglar was described as having a medium build, possibly a beard, and was wearing a baseball cap, hooded sweatshirt, pants, dark sneakers, and a white short over this face.
If you see this suspect, do not approach him and instead call 911 immediately.
