Borrelli &amp; Butler (with special guest Deirdre Finnegan) playing live music, including some 90's tunes! Joe Borrelli is a Professional Musician, Singer/Songwriter and Lead Singer of local favorite The Walk-Ins &amp; recording artists 56 Men. He plays regularly in the Metro Philly Area and covers your favorites from 60s power trios to Billie Eilish. You may also recognize Joe from his other passion - Borrelli’s Chestnut Hill Gallery - in its 20th year on the Hill showcasing contemporary artists.
Steve Butler, singer, songwriter and guitarist from New Jersey, has been making great music since his first band Quincy was discovered at the famed rock club, CBGB’s in NYC and signed to Columbia Records. A few years later his new band, Smash Palace, was signed to Epic Records, played national tours and had an MTV video. Since then the band has recorded 13 albums with the newest one, ‘ 87’ released in October of 2025.
Special Guest - Deirdre Finnegan has been commanding the stage in the Philadelphia entertainment industry for many years and has worked with everyone from preschoolers to Broadway stars. Deirdre is a jack-of-all-trades performer and is just as comfortable scatting to the American Songbook with a jazz trio, as she is belting out Heart and Blondie.

The Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion

The Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion hosts a Jazz Vesper Service from September through April each year and features some of the most talented musicians in the area. The vesper service is from 4-5:30 pm on the third Sunday of the month and is free to the public. In celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month for the April Vesper Service, the Church welcomes vocalist Joanna Pascale with her tribute to her mentor and friend vocalist Miss Justine who recently passed away. There is no admission and a Free Will Offering is asked to cover the musicians. Doors open at 3:30 pm. The Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion is located at&nbsp;2110 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. There is on-street parking: Free street parking on Sundays in vicinity of the church on Walnut &amp; Locust Streets &amp; 21st-23rd Streets. Be careful to observe all parking signs. Indoor Parking: $9 with validation next to the church on Sansom Street.

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) changes lives by providing scholarship funding for Philadelphia families to choose a tuition-based school that meets their student’s educational needs. CSFP is the largest and most diverse provider of K-8th scholarship support in Pennsylvania, focusing on the highest-need students in the lowest-achieving schools in the city. During the 2025-26 school year, CSFP awarded more than 6,800 scholarships for K-8th grade students enrolled at nearly 150 area tuition-based schools.
