It's a special evening just for educators!

Explore the Science History Institute's new exhibition, Flash! Bang! Boom! A History of Fireworks, as the museum stays open late for an in-depth look at the science, history, and spectacle behind fireworks.

During this exclusive event, educators will get

  • an up-close introduction to the exhibition
  • summary of our brand-new school group tour focused on fireworks
  • classroom-ready resources and activities for grades 6–12
  • light refreshments
  • and more!

It’s a great opportunity to discover new ways to bring the history of science into your classroom and experience the exhibition before bringing your class for a group tour. The Science History Institute looks forward to welcoming educators from across the region for an evening of learning, exploration, and inspiration.

This event is FREE; registration is required.
