The Girard College Alumni Association invites alumni, students, families, and members of the extended Girard community to participate in the second annual Charles Warren Stanley Memorial 5K Walk/Run on Sunday, May 17, 2026, on the Girard College campus. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM, and the race starts at 9:00 AM.
Open to both runners and walkers, the event will be an officially timed race. A virtual participation option is available for those who cannot attend in person, and donation options are also available for supporters who would like to contribute to the event. The 5K honors the legacy of Charles Warren Stanley ’67, a dedicated athlete and committed supporter of Girard College. His passion for athletics, service, and community continues to inspire this event, which helps support today’s students and student-athletes through Girard Athletics.
