Pier 1 Park is the Navy Yard’s newest public park, and we are taking our Lunch Truck Lineup there! We’ll have an afternoon of food trucks (EL TLALOC and Jerk King Caribbean Feast), ice cream, and free swag!
This park offers a place for everyone, employees, residents, and visitors, to gather, relax, and connect with the Delaware River. This project transformed a former industrial waterfront site into a vibrant public space for recreation, community events, and everyday enjoyment. There are tables and chairs there to enjoy your lunch while you take in views of the water.
Whether you want to relax by the river with a good book, swap titles with coworkers and neighbors, or simply enjoy lunch in a scenic setting, this is the perfect mid-day break. Stop by our new Little Free Library and bring a few gently used books to help us stock the shelves. Then grab lunch from two of your favorite food trucks and take in the waterfront views.
