PlayPenn’s New Play Development Conference is back this year, bigger, bolder, and more open than ever.
The 19-event Conference brings together more than 60 theatre artists for workshops, conversations, and new work presentations, creating opportunities for artists and audiences alike to connect, collaborate, and experience how new plays come to life.
The 2026 Conference includes an exciting lineup of acclaimed artists, featuring artists from Philadelphia’s vibrant theatre community, including Suli Holum, Noelle Diane Johnson, Anthony Martinez-Briggs, Michael A. Stahler, and Steve A. Wright, alongside Broadway artists Charlie Thurston, Danilo Gambini, and many more.
