
This panel will consider the history of artists working under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CET; will look at the current state of funding for the arts and the challenges involved; and will consider alternative approaches for employing artists in the future.

• Valerie Gay, Chief Cultural Officer, and Executive Director of the Office of the Arts and Creative Economy
• Isaiah Thomas, City Council Member at Large and Majority Whip; advocate for the arts
