Join Morton Contemporary gallery for the opening reception of ‘Rhythm of Memory’, an abstract exhibition by Liz Barber.
‘Rhythm of Memory’ is an artistic exploration of recollection through a series of fluid, atmospheric abstracts. The washes of color and soft texture reflect the persistent ‘Rhythm of Memory’ that flow over your mind like the gentle roll of ocean tide.
The exhibition bridges organic cellular forms with expansive airy palettes where boundaries blur and shapes dissolve into one another. Delicate line work and sweeping arrays of color come together to create a sense of emotional depth that feels both vast and intimate. The interplay of heavy earth tones, oceanic blues and luminous whites evokes a calming atmosphere, inviting viewers to wander through a landscape where the past and present bleed together.
Liz is a contemporary artist based in Georgia. Educated at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and Moore College of Art & Design, Barber has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in experimentation and material exploration.
Join us on Thursday, October 22nd from 5:30-7:30 PM to celebrate the opening of this exceptional exhibition!
