City Winery Philadelphia Presents Jordan Hawkins live on October 24th at 7:30pm.
Jordan Hawkins brings Electric Soul to the Loft for his Philadelphia debut, solo, stripped down, and up close. Guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer, Jordan Hawkins built his sound at the intersection of R&B, rock, blues and soul, drawing on Hendrix, D'Angelo and Prince. For one night in Philadelphia he strips the full band away and performs alone: one voice, one electric guitar, and a looper building the arrangements in real time.
It's a format that puts everything on display - the musicianship, the songwriting, and the storytelling between songs.
