Cars Spray Painted Green In North Philadelphia After Eagles Win

One vehicle had its entire windshield spray painted green and had "Eagles" written on it in spray paint, as well.

PHILADELPHIA – While the city of Philadelphia experienced extreme elation after the Eagles trounced the Minnesota Vikings 38-7 Sunday night sending them to their first Super Bowl since 2009, some vehicle owners in North Philadelphia are not happy.

According to Temple University officials, university police found a handful of cars vandalized early Monday morning.

Eight vehicles were vandalized with green spray paint sometime following the Birds' win Sunday, with "Eagles" spray painted on the hood and grill of one vehicle. That same car had its entire windshield covered with green spray paint.

The cars were all located on the 1500 block of 16th Street and the vandalism was discovered at about 1 a.m., according to Temple.

Temple Police are investigating the vandalism.
