Center City SIPS Returns For Summer 2023

PHILADELPHIA — Center City District SIPS is back for the summer, and nearly six dozen bars and restaurants are on board to offer food and drink specials every Wednesday through late August.

Center City SIPS will be held every Wednesday now through Aug. 30.

Each Wednesday, participating venues will serve $7 cocktails, including specials made with Hornitos Tequila, $6 wine, $5 beer and half-priced appetizers from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

After 7 p.m., select locations will provide 15 percent off dinner bills.

SIPS Style also begins this week with discounts at select retailers across Center City.

Every Wednesday through the end of August, participating businesses invite shoppers to make the most of their day downtown by taking advantage of reduced-price merchandise and services.

The all-day discounts, which are up to 20 percent off, are perfect for office workers looking for day-to-night fashion, a lunchbreak fitness class or pre-SIPS pampering.

Also beginning Wednesday, CCD SIPS at Dilworth Park presented by Hornitos Tequila offers live DJ entertainment, fun photo ops and, for the first time, access to the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink (with valid admission).

The Air Grille Garden will serve $7 Hornitos Tequila cocktails, $6 wine and $5 Kona Big Wave beer, plus weekly food specials.

The park’s festive overlay will only be set up on Wednesday nights during the SIPS season, so visitors are encouraged to stop by before it’s gone.
