Center City Stabbing Suspect Sought By Philadelphia Police

Philadelphia Police said the man seen here stabbed another man several times in the early morning hours of Aug. 7 in Center City.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man during a fight in Center City last week.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 1:35 a.m. on Aug. 7 on the 1200 block of Filbert Street.

A 39-year-old man got into an argument with another man at that time and location.

Police said the argument turned into a fight and the 39-year-old man was stabbed several times.

He was taken to Jefferson Hospital in stable condition.

Police described the suspect as a black man with a gray beard and wearing all black clothing.
