Corvette Damaged During Eagles Parade, Police Seeking Vandals

A woman parked her 1985 Corvette near the Art Museum to watch the parade, but a group of people jumped on it causing damage to the car.

PHILADELPHIA – A woman's 1985 Corvette was damaged during the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl parade on Thursday, Feb. 8 and Philadelphia Police are seeking those who damaged it.

According to police, the vehicle was parked at Judson Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Thursday Feb. 8 as the owner attended the parade.

When the owner returned to her vehicle, she found extensive body damage to the hood and roof area of the vehicle, police said.

Videos and photos show a large group of people climbing on the vehicle and jumping up and down on it.

Police said anyone who has information on the incident is asked to contact Detectives Guerico or Palumbo with the Central Detective Division at (215) 686-3047.
