Decomposed Body Found In NE Philly Park Wednesday Night: Police
Police said the body was "badly decomposed" when it was found Wednesday evening inside Northeast Philly's Pennypack Park.
PHILADELPHIA – A "badly decomposed" male body was found in Northeast Philadelphia's Pennypack Park Wednesday evening, according to police.
Police said at about 9:11 p.m. the body was found inside the park near the Welsh Road and Rowland Avenue park entrance.
The body was located with the help of a K9 cadaver dog, police said.

Officials with the Philadelphia Medical Examiners Officer now have the body and are working to determine the cause of death.
The decedent's friend told investigators the pair had been out drinking in that area on Saturday, May 19, according to Action News.
