Flying Metal Kills Driver On I-95 In Philly
A 33-year-old Philadelphia woman died after her vehicle was hit by a large piece of metal on Interstate 95 Monday afternoon.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman died after a large piece of metal struck her vehicle Monday on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.
The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Monday on I-95 south near the Columbus Boulevard ramp, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
State Police said a "large piece of metal debris" hit the windshield of a 2014 Subaru Impreza, striking the driver.

The driver, identified as 33-year-old Caramina Panichelli of Philadelphia, died as a result of the injuries.
