DUI Driver Crashes Into 27 Cars In Philly, Report Says

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A man who authorities believe had a little (a lot) too much to drink and got behind the wheel crashed into 27 cars early Sunday in Philadelphia, according to a report.

6ABC reports the unidentified driver crashed into 10 cars along Devereau Avenue around 3 a.m. and then hit 17 more vehicles on at least four other streets in Philadelphia's Lawndale section.

"When we walked out to our car, we almost got to our car and this driver, smoke everywhere, was coming. He turned and we almost got hit by it," a resident who called 911 on the driver told the network.

Witnesses told 6ABC the man eventually got out of his car and ran before the police captured him.

He's facing several charges, the report said.
