Former Eagle Connor Barwin, Yards Create Brew For A Good Cause

Yards and Barwin are launching Make the World Better IPA with a party and donating a portion of the beer's sale to Barwin's foundation.

PHILADELPHIA — Yards Brewing and former Eagle Connor Barwin are yet again teaming up, this time with a signature brew that supports a good cause.

Yards and Barwin are launching Make the World Better IPA, a new, limited-edition beer from Yards’ First Draft series named after the foundation which Barwin started.

The beer is getting its own launch party on Nov. 1 at Yards.

The party will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Yards, 500 Spring Garden St. in Philly.

And to help keep the streets safe, Yards is offering discounted Lyft rides to or from the party. Click here for 25 percent off your trip to or from the event. Limited to the first 150 rides from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.

Make the World Better IPA is brewed with Simcoe hops and local spruce tips, resulting in an appealing, soft citrus flavor. A portion of all Make the World Better IPA sales will benefit MTWB and its playground revitalization projects in Philadelphia neighborhoods.

And to make things even better, you can win a complimentary ticket to an exclusive Football Watch Party with Connor Barwin.

All you need to do is buy a four-pack at a location selling the limited beer and see if you have a Golden Ticket.
