Franklin Fountain Celebrating 20 Years With Street Fair This Month

Philadelphia's old time ice cream shop on Market Street is turning 20 years old and is hosting a street fair to celebrate the milestone.

PHILADELPHIA — The Franklin Fountain in Old City Philadelphia is a popular spot to get ice cream, sodas, sundaes, floats, and more for those looking to experience the old time ice cream and soda parlor vibes.

And this month, busy ice cream shop will celebrate 20 years of doing business with a street fair.

The Franklin Fountain 20th Anniversary Street Fair will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the store, located at 116 Market St.

Attendees will enjoy ice cream contests, candy demonstrations, street performers, and live music from Drew Nugent & the Midnight Society.
