9 Free Philly Concerts For America 250: Christina Aguilera, The Roots, And More
Even if you're not celebrating the Fourth in America's birthplace, there are plenty of chances to see free live music these next two weeks.

PHILADELPHIA — Even if you're not attending Philadelphia's massive Fourth of July, there are plenty of chances to see free live music during the city's celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Wawa Welcome America, which hosts the city's Independence Day celebrations, is holding plenty of free concerts through July 4.
Festivities kicked off on Juneteenth and will culminate July 4 with the "One Philly: Unity Concert" featuring Christina Aguilera, The Roots and other big names before a fireworks finale.

Celebration of Black Music Month + Fireworks

- When: Thursday, 7-9 p.m.
- Where: Dell Music Center (2400 Strawberry Mansion Dr.)
- Performers: The evening will showcase performances honoring Black women in music. Grammy-winning rapper Eve, a Philadelphia native, will headline, and Grammy-winner Mya will give a special performance.

Kidchella Music Festival
- When: Friday, 4-9 p.m.
- Where: Smith Memorial Playground (3500 Reservoir Dr.)
- Performers: The kid-friendly performance will feature several Philly-based performers, including Interminable, Courtnee Owens, Dendê Macêdo, The Bearded Ladies Cabaret, and Beyond the Bars.

Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta
- When: Saturday, 2-9 p.m.
- Where: 16th Street and JFK Boulevard
- Performers: Grammy-winning singer Olga Tañón will headline the celebration of Hispanic culture and community. Listed performers also include Palante, Los Pueblitos, Aeserco, and Ritmos.

Summer Concert & Spectacular Waterfront Fireworks
- When: Saturday, 8-10 p.m.
- Where: 101 S Christopher Columbus Blvd.
- Performers: The concert will feature Tommy Conwell & The Young Rumblers before a fireworks display over the Delaware River.

Gospel On Independence
- When: Sunday, 7-9 p.m.
- Where: Independence National Historical Park (599 Market St.)
- Performers: Headlined by 20-time Grammy-winning artist Kirk Franklin, the lineup will feature local artists and choirs.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Free Pride Concert and Celebration
- When: June 30, 7-9 p.m.
- Where: The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts (300 S Broad St.)
- Performers: The orchestra, led by guest conductor Carolyn Kuan, will perform music by LGBTQ+ composers. The event is hosted by drag performer and recording artist Trixie Mattel.

Salute to Service: The United States Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus
- When: July 2, 6-9 p.m.
- Where: Independence National Historical Park (599 Market St.)
- Performers: Headlined by Queen Latifah, the salute to soldiers and veterans will showcase musicians in the Army.

- Performers: The Philly Pops will take the Independence Concert Series Stage for an evening featuring a headlining performance by Tony-winner Idina Menzel.
