Frontier Offering Direct Flights To 5 New Cities From Philly

PHILADELPHIA — You'll be able to fly directly from the Philadelphia International Airport to five cities, including Las Vegas, in the spring thanks to new services from Frontier Airlines.

The airline announced Tuesday that it will begin non-stop seasonal flights between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Atlanta, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Pensacola and Raleigh-Durham starting in the spring, continuing the "Ultra Low-Cost Carrier's" expansion in Philadelphia.

Frontier plans to use Airbus 320 aircraft on the routes and introductory one-way fares are as low as $29.

Service to Atlanta, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and Raleigh-Durham starts on April 30. The service to Pensacola begins on May 3.

With the addition of these new cities, Frontier will serve 31 destinations from Philadelphia with a mix of seasonal and year-round service.

Ten of those destinations were added in 2018. Next month, the Denver-based carrier begins seasonal flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica from Philadelphia. Get more information on those flights here.

• PHL – Pensacola flying Monday and Friday
  • Departs PHL at 5:20 p.m., arrives at PNS at 7:01 p.m.; departs PNS at 7:51 p.m., arrives at PHL at 11:37 p.m.
• PHL – Raleigh-Durham flying Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
  • Departs PHL at 2:28 p.m., arrives at RDU at 3:45 p.m.; departs RDU at 4:35 p.m., arrives at PHL at 5:54 p.m.
