Girl, 14, Charged After I-76 Crash Kills Boy, 15, Sunday: Reports
Authorities said a 14-year-old girl driving a stolen vehicle tried to flee police on I-76 east, but crashed, killing a teenage passenger.
PHILADELPHIA — A crash on Interstate 76 east Sunday evening led to the death of a teenage boy and the arrest of a teenage girl, according to reports.
The crash occurred at about 5:50 p.m. Sunday on I-76 east between the Montgomery Drive and Girard Avenue exits, NBC10 reports.
A 14-year-old girl driving a stolen vehicle lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier, hitting another car, then rolling several times up an embankment as police tried to stop it, according to Fox 29.

The driver and two other passengers were hurt and taken to a hospital for treatment.
But a 15-year-old boy who was also a passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries, Action News reports.

Authorities have charged the teen driver with vehicular manslaughter.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
