Girl, 2, Found After Spending Night Wandering Philly Park

Philadelphia Police said a 2-year-old girl who went missing Sunday evening has been located.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police said a missing 2-year-old girl has been found.

Diarraye Barry was last seen at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at Champion Park, located at Tustin Street and Verree Road, police said.

Police Monday morning said she had been located.

According to Action News, Diarraye was found by a Good Samaritan at about 8 a.m. Monday in brush along a hillside near the playground she was last seen in.

NBC10 reports she was taken to hospital for evaluation and is in good health after being found in what authorities said was a bit of a state of shock.

"The 2-year-old was found this morning," Philadelphia Police Inspector Deshawn Beaufort said, according to NBC10. "Seems to be in good health, a few minor scrapes and scratches, but she was found by a passerby, looks to be a runner in the woods, she was standing in the brush."
