Girl Fatally Shot Inside Philadelphia Home, Man Charged
A 7-year-old girl died after being shot inside a Philadelphia home Sunday Afternoon, according to Philadelphia Police
PHILADELPHIA — A 7-year-old girl died after being shot inside a Philadelphia home Sunday, and a 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
The shooting occurred at about 2:27 p.m. Sunday in a home on the 3800 block of I Street, police said.
Officers found Mia Andujar, 7, suffering from a gunshot wound to her face.

She was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 2:39 p.m.
Police said they found a firearm at the scene, and charged Alan Nguyen, 24.

Nguyen has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child, and recklessly endangering another person.
The investigation is ongoing.
