Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins To Play Philadelphia In August 2024
The legendary punk rockers and 90s alternative rock bands will be making a stop at Citizens Bank Park on a global tour next year.

PHILADELPHIA — Two legendary bands who got their start in the 1990s are coming to Philadelphia on a global tour next year.
Green Day and The Smashing Pumpkins will head to Philadelphia as part of "The Saviors Tour" in 2024.
The two bands will play at Citizens Bank Park on Friday, Aug. 9.

They will be joined by Rancid and The Linda Lindas for their Philly stop.
Tickets will be available starting with a Citi presale beginning on Tuesday. Additionally, fans can sign up for Green Day’s mailing list by Tuesday to get first access to presale tickets. More pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. online here

The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. "We’ve never been more excited to unleash new music than with Saviors, a record that’s meant to be rocked live, together," Green Day said in the tour announcement. "So let’s thrash. We’ve got some amazing friends who are coming along for the ride!"
Green Day will be performing career-spanning sets on the tour, which marks the 30th anniversary of the bands 1994 certified Diamond album "Dookie," and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s "American Idiot."
