Gritty Accused Of Punching Teenager In The Back
An area dad says Gritty punched his 13-year-old son in the back during a season ticket holder event back in 2019.

PHILADELPHIA — Flyers mascot Gritty is known for his raucous antics. But his antics went too far during a season ticket holder event in November 2019, according to a dad who took his son to the event.
Action News reports Chris Greenwell says Gritty punched his son Brandon, 13, in the back during the event at the Wells Fargo Center.
After the incident, in which Greenwell claims Gritty punched his son in the back "hard as he could," Greenwell ended his season ticket holder status, he told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
