Gritty, Flyers' New Mascot, Has Wild First Night [VIDEOS]

Love or hate him, the Flyers' new mascot was all over the Wells Fargo Center in his first public appearance at a Flyers game Monday night.

PHILADELPHIA – Whether you like him or not, the Philadelphia Flyers' new mascot Gritty is here.

And he made is presence known at his first Flyers game Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center, spreading antics throughout the area as the Flyers took on the Boston Bruins.

Gritty was out on the ice (and looked just a bit unsteady on his feet) during intermissions, slipping a few times.

He was firing T-shirts into the crowd, and even turned the T-shirt cannon on a staffer.

Gritty was also in the stands, dancing with kids and getting in on the kiss cam action.
