Heat Closing Philly Schools Early Tuesday
The School District of Philadelphia announced Tuesday's forecasted high temperatures are prompting the early dismissal.

PHILADELPHIA – The School District of Philadelphia announced Monday that forecasted temperatures will lead to an early dismissal on Tuesday.
All schools in the district will let at bout noon Tuesday, June 13, the district said.

Weather.com predicts the high in Philadelphia on Tuesday will be 94 degrees. Monday's temperatures pushed 95 degrees.
All after-school activities including all athletic programs and professional development classes scheduled for Tuesday are canceled, as well, the district said.
