'Hocus Pocus' Drive-In Showing To Benefit Pennsylvania SPCA

PHILADELPHIA — Halloween lovers and animal lovers can get the best of both worlds this weekend, as the Pennsylvania SPCA and IKEA are teaming up for a drive-in movie fundraiser featuring a classic Disney Halloween flick.

At 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, the PSPCA and IKEA are inviting you to the South Philadelphia IKEA parking lot for a drive-in movie showing of "Hocus Pocus." The movie is set to begin at sundown, about 6:30 p.m.

The movie will raise funds for the Pennsylvania SPCA’s lifesaving mission.

Individuals, families, couples and of course animal advocates, are invited to a special showing of "Hocus Pocus," which tells the story of a Halloween-hating teenager who inadvertently resurrects three witches and must risk his life to protect his sister and defeat them with the help of a classmate crush, a friendly zombie and an immortal black cat.

Priority seating is available for those who wish to sit upfront, with first and second row spots available for a donation of just $200 and $150 respectively.

General admission tickets, which parking will be given to on a first come, first served basis, are available for a donation of $45 per car.
