Indie Rockers Vampire Weekend Bringing Tour To Philly In September
The band last week announced its new album "Only God Was Above Us" will release on April 5 and the new tour will support the album.

PHILADELPHIA — Indie rock stars Vampire Weekend is embarking on a massive North American tour and will make a stop in Philadelphia as part of it.
The band, comprised of Ezra Koenig, Chris Baio and Chris Tomson, last week announced its new album "Only God Was Above Us" will release on April 5. The tour will support the album's release.
Vampire Weekend will play TD Pavilion at the Mann in Philadelphia on Saturday, Sept. 28.

They will be supported by New York City rockers Cults at the Philly concert.
Citi is the official card of the Vampire Weekend Tour and its cardmembers will have access to presale tickets at 10 a.m. Tuesday through 10 p.m. Thursday through the Citi Entertainment program. Full details are available online here.

Fans are also encouraged to sign up now for early access to the band’s presales at online here. Those presales start at 10 a.m. Wednesday. General ticket sale will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23 online here.
The band has released two tracks, "Capricorn" and "Gen-X Cops," from their upcoming album, which is available for preorder here.
