Inmate Beaten To Death Inside Philadelphia Prison: Reports

A prison in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility was beaten to death early Wednesday during a fight. Another inmate was injured.

PHILADELPHIA — An inmate at a Philadelphia prison died after a fight early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The incident occurred at about 12:15 a.m. in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia, NBC10 reports.

Two inmates got into a fight, ending with one killed and the other hurt, according to Action News.

Fox 29 only identified the deceased man as 28 years old.
