Interstate 76 East Lane Closing Overnight Next Week

Drivers on Interstate 76 east in Philadelphia will encounter overnight lane closures next week due to road resurfacing and repair work.

PHILADELPHIA — PennDOT said eastbound Interstate 76 in Philadelphia will have an overnight lane closure next week due to resurfacing and repair work.

The work will be done Monday through Friday next week.

Work is set to take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

The work area is between the Belmont Avenue and Montgomery Drive interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.
