JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Serving Greater North Philadelphia
Local Entrepreneurs Hope to Employ Fellow Veterans, Veteran Families with New Business

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, a national franchise organization dedicated to providing business ownership opportunities to veterans and relatives of veterans, is now serving North Philadelphia from Fishtown up to Mayfair and across Germantown. JDog provides junk removal and hauling services to both residential and commercial customers, delivering service the military way: with respect, integrity and trust.
The new JDog will service the greater Fishtown area, and is co-owned by Army veteran John DiNapoli and his son-in-law, Brett Connolly. After serving seven years in the Army as a helicopter pilot for the 101st Airborne Division, DiNapoli decided to join the National Guard and retired with the rank of Brigadier General after dedicating more than 34 years of service. Connolly, a graduate of University of Delaware, joins JDog with five years’ experience in project management, leading teams in software implementations and consulting projects. Interested in going into business together, DiNapoli and Connolly knew that JDog was the perfect opportunity to work together toward helping local veterans find meaningful employment within their community.
“We were immediately attracted to the JDog business model, as it directly aligns with the values of the military,” said JDog co-owner, DiNapoli. “We are proud to be a part of an organization that honors and provides opportunities for veterans to be successful in business and beyond.”

JDog awards franchises exclusively to military veterans and their family members. Franchise owners operate easily recognizable, camouflage vehicles and trailers and wear military-style uniforms. JDog recycles and repurposes a substantial amount of the material they pick up. The Philadelphia-based company works closely with local and national organizations, as well as local schools, churches and hospitals to donate useful items to those in need.
“JDog credits its success to the idea that when given the choice, people will hire a veteran,” said Jerry Flanagan, founder of JDog. “JDog teams serve and support their local communities under the ethics of respect, integrity and trust – a true reflection of military morals.”
