Legend, who called the city home while he attended University of Pennsylvania, won't be able to vote in the election but still felt compelled to support the defense and civil rights attorney, who has been a advocate for social movements and groups such as Black Lives Matter.
Legend has been outward with his support of Democratic politicians, including performing and appearing in a song for Barack Obama in 2008.
