Keanu Reeves' Band Dogstar To Play Philadelphia Show

The actor known for "The Matrix," "John Wick," and more is touring with his band Dogstar, and they're playing an intimate Philly show.

PHILADELPHIA — Keanu Reeves is a man of many talents.

He's a beloved actor, the founder of Arch Motorcycles, a martial arts connoisseur, a proficient shooter, and even a musician.

And he's bringing his music to Philadelphia.

Reeves' alternative rock band Dogstar has reformed and is heading out on tour, which will bring the band to Philadelphia's Underground Arts venue, at 1200 Callowhill St.

Dogstar will play Philadelphia on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Reeves plays bass in Dogstar, which was founded in 1991 with guitarist-vocalist Gregg Miller and drummer Robert Mailhouse.

Miller left the group and Bret Domrose took over vocals and guitar.

Dogstar released albums in 1996 and 2000.

They broke up in 2002, but about 20 years later the band announced they had reformed.

Now, they are planning to release a new album titled "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and the Palm Trees."
