Kosher Grill Joins Food Lineup At PA's Citizens Bank Park

Kosher Grill opened in June and is serving Phillies fans ballpark fare including hot pastrami, potato knishes and soft pretzels.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Phillies fans have a new food option to choose from when attending games at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

Kosher Grill, located in Section 136, opened earlier this month, according to the business's Facebook page. The stand is the second for Kosher Grill and an addition to its longstanding operation at the Wells Fargo Center.

Kosher Grill offers a variety of items on its menu, including hot pastrami on rye, Chicago-style hot dogs with all the fixings, garlic beef sausages, potato knishes, cabbage egg rolls, and pretzels.

According to recent estimates, more than 194,000 households in the region identify as Jewish, making the Philadelphia area home to the third-largest Jewish population in the United States, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Besides in Philadelphia, kosher ballpark food can be found at Fenway Park in Boston, Wrigley Field in Chicago, Progressive Field in Cleveland, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, LoanDepot Park in Miami, CitiField and Yankee Stadium in New York, Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Rogers Centre in Toronto, and Nationals Park in Washington, according to the Inquirer.

Kosher Grill is closed Fridays and Saturdays during the sabbath.
