Lanes On Interstate 76 Closing Overnight In Philadelphia This Week
Resurfacing work will impact traffic on Interstate 76 west during the nighttime this week in Philadelphia, PennDOT said.
PHILADELPHIA — Interstate 76 in Philadelphia this week will have overnight lane closures due to resurfacing work, PennDOT said.
Lane closures will affect traffic on Interstate 76 west from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following morning through Friday this week.
The affected portion of highway is on sections of westbound I-76 between the I-676 (Exit 344) and Montgomery Drive (Exit 341) interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur.

This work is part of a $36.8 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and 23 bridges from U.S. 1 South (City Avenue) to Interstate 676 (Vine Street Expressway) in Philadelphia.
