Lottery Begins For $10 'Hamilton' Tickets In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — A digital lottery for $10 "Hamilton" tickets at the Kimmel Cultural Campus in Philadelphia is now open.

Lottery entry is available in the "Hamilton" mobile app or online. Tickets run from $29 to $249 at regular pricing, so the lottery is an opportunity for Hamilfans to get a cheaper seat in the room where it happens.

"Hamilton" will be in Philly from Wednesday, Oct. 20 to Sunday, Nov. 28. The award-winning show combines multiple genres of music to tell the story of Alexander Hamilton, the Founding Father who was first Secretary of the Treasury in the United States. His portrait is on the $10 bill.

The lottery opens at 10 a.m. every Friday and closes at noon the next Thursday for performances the following week. Entrants will receive notifications on Thursdays whether they won a ticket or not.

Each winner may purchase up to two tickets, and they have two hours after the notification to do so. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. All attendees must wear masks and show proof of full vaccination to enter.
