More Than 10,000 Bags Of Narcotics Found In Philadelphia Drug Bust: AG
Breaking: Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said authorities are still searching the home, with more drugs likely to turn up.

PHILADELPHIA – A "major" drug operation in Philadelphia was busted Friday morning, according to Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
In a press conference Friday afternoon, Shapiro said more than 10,000 bags of suspected heroin, and potentially fentanyl, were recovered Friday at a home on the 1100 block of Rosalie Street in the city's Summerdale neighborhood.
Shapiro said authorities have only completed about half of their search, with more narcotics likely to turn up.

Ten people have been arrested and authorities are expected to release their identities soon, Shapiro said.
The joint operation involved Philadelphia Police, Office of the Attorney General's agents, and Pennsylvania State Police, Shaprio said.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said three officers were administered Narcan after being exposed to narcotics and were taken to a hospital as a precaution. Those three officers have since been released, he said.
One Attorney General agent was also exposed to narcotics and was treated as well, Shapiro said.
Shapiro said this is likely the largest amount of narcotics recovered by authorities since he assumed the Attorney General role.
