Man Carjacks Woman, Hits Pedestrian With Car: Philly Police
Police said the man forced a woman out of her vehicle, then struck another woman who is now in critical condition due to the incident.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are looking for a man who carjacked a woman then struck and injured another woman two weeks ago.
The incident occurred at a bout 9:25 p.m. on Friday, April 17 on 17th Street.
A 23-year-old woman was driving on 17th Street when saw a vehicle crash in her rearview mirror.

Then, a man jumped into the back seat of her car after fleeing that crash.
The man demanded she drive off, but she refused and the man pushed her out of the vehicle then drove off, heading south on 17th Street.

As he fled the area, the man struck a 20-year-old woman near 1500 Willington St.
The woman was walking on the street when she was struck and suffered severe trauma to her legs, broken pelvis and a very large laceration to her leg. She is in critical condition at Temple Hospital.
The man crashed the vehicle in an abandoned lot on the 1300 block of Smedley Street and ran off.
A receipt from a Target store from earlier the same day was found in the striking vehicle.
The individuals seen in the video clips above made that purchase.
