Man Dead, Woman Hurt In Apparent Murder-Suicide Attempt: Police
Philly Police said a man is dead and a woman is critical after an early Friday shooting. Five children were reportedly present, as well.
PHILADELPHIA — A man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after what appeared to be a murder-suicide attempt in Philadelphia early Friday.
Police said officers were called to the 300 block of Milne Street at about 3:48 p.m. Friday for a report of a shooting.
There, they found a man, 26, and a woman, 25, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:56 a.m., and the woman was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she is in critical but stable condition.
Investigators believe the man shot the woman before turning the weapon on himself in what appears to be a domestic incident.

According to Action News, five children, nine months to nine years old, were present at the time of the shooting. Those children belonged to the man and woman, Fox 29 reports.
Authorities found a semiautomatic handgun and four spent shell casings next to the man’s body, according to NBC10.
