Man Flung Off Overpass, Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Philly
The crash threw him onto the street below.
PHILADELPHIA — A man was killed after a motorcycle crash threw him off an overpass Monday night in Philadelphia, according to State Police.
Karl Kirschner, 33, of Pottstown, struck a guardrail just after 11 p.m. on the I-95 South off-ramp to I-676 West, police said.
Kirschner was ejected onto the roadway below, by 2nd and Callowhill streets. He was alive but unresponsive when police found him, and he was still wearing is helmet.

Kirschner was brought to Jefferson Hospital, where he later died.
His crashed motorcycle was found on the right shoulder of the ramp.

No other injuries were reported.
State Police are investigating the crash.
